Christ's College 1st XI Football team has made history this season after going 11 from 11 in the regular-season competition.

The Connetics 1st XI Premier Football Competition started in its current format in 2015, with all the schools coming together to play on Wednesday nights.

Christ's College is the first team to go through the league unbeaten in that time. Although, other teams have come close:

  • 2016 - Lincoln HS lost just once
  • 2018 - Both St Thomas and Cashmere finished top of the table with just one loss each
  • 2019 - St Thomas repeated the feat from the year before, losing just once.

Christ's run is also the first time that a team has won the Connetics Challenge Shield in the first game of the season and defended it through to the end.
