The Canterbury United Pride Skill Centre provides a regional girls hub for talent development. The Skill Centre focuses on solely establishing and developing key football habits with sessions specifically designed to affect all areas of the player’s development in a positive way.

Starting with players at ages 9 & 10, 11 & 12, the Skill Centre complements existing club and school football programmes by adding focused training hours with specialist coaching for players, offering a unique set of advantages:

• A programme to systematically develop the individual player
• Consistent national curriculum (New Zealand Football)
• Coaches who are specifically trained and experienced in developing talented junior & youth players
• Lots of time on the ball (core skill development, attacking/defending)
• Enjoyable female environment for players 
• Weekly training sessions and an extended programme of development throughout the year
• A clear pathway into Canterbury United Pride Development & Youth Programmes.

The Skill Centre has been modelled on successful talent development programmes around the world.

When:      Monday's & Friday's 4:00 - 5:00pm (option for one or two sessions)

Cost:       $230 (1 session per week), $460 (2 sessions per week)
