Clubs are the lifeblood of football within the Mainland Football federation. For most of us, club football is our first and most influential experience of the game we love. Vibrant and supportive clubs, fuelled by the passion and commitment of volunteers, deliver social and competitive football opportunities for players, coaches and referees of all ages.
For some, that experience at club level is a launch-pad to elite football and for others, it is simply a way to keep fit, have fun and belong to a community of like-minded people.
Below are a wide range of helpful resources for your Club and member to help with the day-to-day management:
- Funding
For help looking for some suggestions for funding, at Sport NZ you can search for different funding options that are available for your area.
- Sport NZ Club Kit
There is a range of resources available on the Sport NZ website, available for all Clubs to use.
- Club Licensing
The overall aim of Club Licensing at NZFootball is to raise the level of club football throughout New Zealand. Find more information about Club Licensing and requirements for Club Licenses by clicking here.
- Quality Club Mark
To help New Zealand clubs perform at their peak, New Zealand Football has created the Quality Club Mark. This is a national partnership with our seven federations as well as 17 Regional Sports Trusts. It aims to promote continuous improvement in the way football is delivered and support clubs as they adopt standards of best practice.
