Player Welfare | A Club Philosophy


New Zealand Football and the Performance and Prevention team is proud to invite you to our Regional Workshop - Player Welfare | A Club Philosophy.

We would like to invite all committee members, administrators, coaches, and club staff to this event that wish to cultivate a club philosophy that fosters player welfare, injury preventionand sport performance

In this workshop you will learn:

  • Who the Performance and Prevention team are and what we do
  • What it means to be a player-welfare-based club
  • Practical ways to integrate a player welfare framework. 
  • Learn more about the parameters of injury prevention
  • How to facilitate an injury prevention plan within your club

 

Each coach that attends the workshop will also get 20 CPD points towards retaining their advanced coaching license within NZF. Additionally, for each club member that attends the workshop, you will enter the draw to win one of the following:

  1. A club AED (Automated external defibrillator) 
  2. Speed testing session for two club teams (one male and one female*)
  3. Strength testing session (Nord Board) for two club teams (one male and one female*)
    *If your club does not have both a female and a male team, two teams of the same gender can be selected.
