Newly appointed Futsal Development Officer Chris Sinclair and Central Football's Antony Riley have travelled to the Continental Futsal Championships in Thailand before the 2021 Lithuania Futsal World Cup in September. 

Here's an update on what they're getting up to:

Day 19-28: Over the course of this week, we have used various training methods to keep our sessions interesting and challenging. We have included Body Weight HIIT Session, Short & Moderate Distance Sprints, Core and Moderate & High HR Sessions.

We have also created a couple of quirky and sweat buster sessions of our own using the resources that we have available. We have used the car park building to run intervals up and down each level, and for another session, the apartment we are staying in has 42 floors, and when the fire escape stairs are a toasty 39C, it’s always a winner to go up and down them a couple of times.

As well as the physical training above, we have also been mentally preparing and focusing for Lithuania by analyzing clips of match situations and continually scanning and looking over the LOTG.
