FEMALES IN
FOOTBALL COACHING SESSIONS following on from the successful Females in
Football week Marlborough Football is pleased to provide two free coaching
sessions to female players on Sunday 14 March and Sunday 21 March 2010,
10am-12noon, Oliver Park. All ages and abilities are catered for with new and

FEMALES IN FOOTBALL FESTIVAL UPDATE!! Briony Fisher (NZ U17 Women’s team
Captain at the recent U17 Women’s World Cup & current NZ U20 Junior Football
Fern) and Megan Shea (U17 team member from Christchurch) will be attending the
event in Blenheim! Players and Non-Players are welcome to come along to this fun

MARLBOROUGH MEN’S REPRESENTATIVE TEAM TRIALS with the appointment of Vince
Binding as the new Coach for the team in 2010 trials will now get underway. Any
players who are interested in being part of this team (to compete in the Nelson
Division 1 competition this season) should attend the trials to be held as
follows – Wednesday 3 February, 6.00pm AND Sunday 7 February 9.00am. Venue –
Oliver Park, Weld Street, Blenheim. If you are unable to attend both of these
trials please contact Lynette Sutherland, Marlborough Football on 579 2387 or

FEMALES IN FOOTBALL FESTIVALS Wednesday 17th February 2010, Oliver Park,
Weld Street, Blenheim There is no doubt that the females game in NZ is ever
increasing not only in participation numbers but also the standard of play. To
carry on the development in this exponential fashion; New Zealand Football and
Mainland Football are hosting a Females in Football Week in early Feb 2010 to
promote many facets of the game including playing, coaching and refereeing.
There will be Football Ferns present at these events.
