Football in Schools

Football In Schools is part of the world renowned Whole of Football Plan http://www.nzfootball.co.nz/index.php?id=919 launched in 2011. Programmes are delivered by Mainland Football staff and aim to give primary and intermediate school children increased opportunities to play football in a school setting. Everything's free of charge, we provide all equipment and are flexible to fit in with the school timetable. The programmes offered are: 

-       Football Literacy - a 5 or 10 week programme in school-time

-       Lets Play - informal football play for break times where student leaders are trained to coach younger children at the school

-       Football Festivals - fun football where the kids just get to play

-       Futsal - 6 week programme of skill based activity
